Children's Ministry

The Children's Ministry of Morningside Baptist Church is committed to serving our children and encouraging the growth of families.  Our desire is to provide quality, fun experiences that will encourage meaningful relationships with peers, teachers, parents, and especially with God.  Children's Ministry is a positive, safe, character building ministry designed to assist families in training their children to become followers of Jesus Christ.

Below are just some of the opportunities that we offer your children.

Sunday School is an age-graded Bible study time where a central Bible truth is communicated through small and large group activities.  Scripture is memorized and the Bible truth is applied to the child's life.  Sunday School starts at 9:45 a.m.

Children's Church is an extended learning session during worship service and is provided for 3, 4, and 5 year olds (or through Kindergarten).  The focus of Children's Church is missions based.

AWANA is an evangelistic club for boys and girls whose purpose is to reach children with the gospel and train them to serve Him.  Club meetings consist of game time, handbook time, and council time.  AWANA classes meet during the public school year on Wednesday nights at 6 p.m.
